Roasted Coffees ( whole beans) price for 250 grams

We offer roasted Whole Beans in bags of 250 grams each. But we can pack smaller quantities too, if you want less than that.
We roast against orders, so please contact us for the next roast date.
Our standard size is 250 grams, in bags with one way valves, the smaller packing would be in zip lock pouches without valves. 
We stock green Arabica coffee beans, sourced from producers in Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala. We also have some Robustas as well. 
Most of the coffee are washed process, but we stock some natural process beans. There is also Monsooned Malabar Arabicas from Aspinwall. We do not have organic certified coffees, but we do stock coffees produced by a Natural Farmer in the Pulneys. 
We like to roast light, medium, and medium-dark. We drop our beans before the second crack. The development time is usually between 60 and 120 seconds. On the Agtron Gourmet scale our roasts can range from Cinnamon Roast, New England to American. Reading from 90 to 62, depending on the how you like it. Our regular roasts are between 82 and 76. 
We enjoy espressos made from our medium roasts so if you seek espresso roasts, do give ours a try too. Even though filter coffees use a brew ratio of 1:16, with our coffees, on our Moccamaster, we get very good coffee even at 1:25, and so that’s our standard brewing ratio with the Moccamaster. For a more intense extraction we may grind to a finer mocha type while for daily coffee we use a filter grind. 
Our roaster is a 5 kg cast iron drum roaster that’s probably 30 plus years old. (We purchased it four years ago from another roaster, who said his father bought it used 15 years ago. So…)
Our efforts are 'hand roasted'.  We have a manual flame adjustment, which is all the heat control. We obtain exhaust probe temperature readings on our 6mm probe. So this is hand roasting…. No preset profiles which can guarantee repeatability, but we are able to comfortably maintain our profiles.
We usually roast in small batches of 1 kg or less. Sometimes we even roast 250 grams. That’s because each roast is for the individual who ordered, and we are still small. It was a learning curve, to achieve good results with such small quantities in a drum roaster, but we have done it. 😋
